The application can use installed Microsoft Office 2003+ Document Imaging (MODI) for transparent optical character recognition (OCR, in this release for MDI files only).

ST Thumbnails Explorer is integrated with Network Installations Management. This technology together with Check for Update service allow easy install, register, and update for plural app copies in corporate networks.

The app also supports multi-user and multi-platform solutions based on MS Terminal Server.

The app base features does not require any additional components or other graphic applications. The program requires few system resources.
